In this edition of Feria Material, we present the work of Carolina Fusilier, Renata Petersen, and José Luis Sánchez Rull—three artists who challenge the narratives of technology, popular culture, and art history.

•Carolina Fusilier (Buenos Aires, 1985): She explores technological materiality, nonlinear temporalities, and posthuman imaginaries. Through film, painting, sound, and installation, the artist intersects organic and mechanical bodies with industrial and domestic environments.

•Renata Petersen (Guadalajara, 1993): She uses satire, caricature, and sharp black humor to examine religious myths, subcultures, and gender roles. He uses traditional crafts such as ceramics and blown glass to bring mass culture and “bad taste” into a sculptural dimension.

•José Luis Sánchez Rull (Mexico City, 1964): He deconstructs art history to create his own myths. His painting and iconography erode classical tradition and pop art to superimpose references to punk, underground comics, and expressionism.
