Grupo Máxico presenta "Los invitados", en el marco de la Bienal de Venecia 2024.

Las piezas seleccionadas son procesos de pantallas sobrevivientes y Frankenstein análogos que buscan hacer notar su propia voz marchando en colectivo. El acto de nombrar surge como un esfuerzo para visibilizar las ruinas de los vencidos, donde el arte resuena como un símbolo de posicionamiento para reclamar los diferentes territorios políticos de los que la mayoría de artistas hemos sido desalojados-marginados por la frontera de la legitimación.

Dicen que cada 17 de Febrero Giordano Bruno regresa a Venezia manifestandose en cosas

relacionadas con el agua y que su espectro solo se le aparece a mujeres.

Esta pieza construida con agua, cristal, cera y fuego, se activara y permanecera ubicada

en el Palazzo Ca' Mocenigo, el ultimo lugar donde Bruno vivio antes de ser juzgado por la Inquisicion.

Un diario en el que se encuentran la serie de sueños y de sincronicidades

que me llevaron hacia Giordano Bruno acompaña la pieza.

The selected pieces are processes of surviving screens and analog Frankenstein that seek to make their own voice heard by marching collectively. The act of naming emerges as an effort to make visible the ruins of the defeated, where art resonates as a symbol of positioning to reclaim the different political territories from which most artists have been evicted-marginalized by the border of legitimization.
