Todos me amarán: arte de México hoy presenta el trabajo de catorce artistas y colectivos emergentes nacidos o basados en distintas regiones de México. Reuniendo artistas de Aguascalientes, Ciudad de México, Ciudad Juárez, Estado de México, Monterrey, Oaxaca y Tijuana, la exhibición celebra la diversidad de ideas y prácticas que distinguen la escena artística del México contemporáneo.
La muestra incluye piezas en diversos formatos: pintura, escultura, dibujo, textil, video y fotografía, de los artistas Alicia Ayanegui, ASMA, Wendy Cabrera Rubio, Paloma Contreras, Tomás Díaz Cedeño, Julio García Aguilar, Julieta Gil, Cristóbal Gracia, Andy Medina, Alejandro 'Luperca' Morales, Andrew Roberts, SANGREE, Ana Segovia.
La declaración que da título a la muestra se inspira en la letra de un éxito de la cantante de pop Gloria Trevi que la artista Ana Segovia retomó para nombrar una obra aquí expuesta en la cual subvierte la figura de un torero. Curada por Carlota Ortiz Monasterio, esta exposición reúne una serie de prácticas que movilizan a la subversión —concebida en su definición más amplia: el acto de trastornar el orden establecido— como una estrategia para reflexionar, en muchos casos, sobre problemas apremiantes.
Nacidos entre 1980 y 1995, crecieron a la par de la expansión de internet, la apertura comercial de México al mundo, la transición a la democracia y la sangrienta guerra contra el narcotráfico. Usando el humor, la apropiación y la provocación como puntos de entrada, sus prácticas reforzaron un diálogo con aquello que comúnmente se ignora, pero que domina muchos arreglos sociales.

The statement that gives the exhibition its title is inspired by the lyrics of a hit song by the pop singer Gloria Trevi that the artist Ana Segovia took it up again to name an artwork exhibited here in which she subverts the figure of a bullfighter. Curated by Carlota Ortiz Monasterio, this exhibition brings together a series of practices that mobilize subversion —conceived in its broadest definition: the act of disrupting the established order— as a strategy to reflect, in many cases, on pressing problems.
Born between 1980 and 1995, they grew up alongside the expansion of the Internet, the commercial opening of Mexico to the world, the transition to democracy and the bloody war against drug trafficking. Using humor, appropriation, and provocation as entry points, their practices reinforced a dialogue with that which is commonly ignored, but dominates many social arrangements.
