La muestra es una carta personal en la que la artista presenta su gratitud ante el concepto de lo incómodo, desde un reconocimineto del impacto negativo que provoca en contextos sociales, en contraste con la influencia positiva que este resulta en el proceso de producción de sus obras.

Las piezas que articulan Dear Awkwardness fueron realizadas por Navas durante su residencia en MAKE Eindhoven, entre septiembre y diciembre de 2023. Periodo durante el cual, se centró en la traducción a vidrio de collages elaborados en papel, inspirándose en retratos exóticos de mujeres en pinturas modernas.

La inauguración será dirigida por el artista visual Toon Verhoef, quien en septiembre del año pasado colaboró con Navas en la exhibición de la muestra "mano a mano", llevada a cabo por las galerías Tegenboschvanvreden y Onrust (Amsterdam, Países Bajos)
